Gamestop to stop selling/buying Game Boy Advance

This past week while out with my sister she needed to make a stop at the cosmetics store Ulta.  I decided to swallow my pride and do what all men in this situation do, hide at the nearby Gamestop till she was done.  While there an announcement came on over their in store radio between awkward announcements for the Battle: Los Angeles movie; the Game Boy Advance is officially a collector’s item as Gamestop will no longer by buying and selling the system in the near future.

The buying part ends on April 2nd, and the selling part will likely follow suit shortly after.  So if you need to unload some GBA games, or if you want to stock up on some, now is the time. (Especially since all the content in store is likely to get clearanced out)

About Tristan Rendo

I've made movies, written and performed music, and in January of 2011 got bored and started the awesome gaming site you see before you. My gaming roots began with the original NES, and endless hours spent spilling quarters into machines at the local arcade. I have a personal collection of over 200 Nintendo 64 games, and for many years it was the only system I owned. I re-entered the modern generation of gaming consoles when I decided to purchase a 360. I typically prefer the single player experience of games, so I’m usually playing through some single-player campaign, but can occasionally be found doing some damage in Halo Reach.
