Gateways lands on Mac, level editor launched

Gateways Box Art

Gateways pulled a Gateways and traveled back in time for its Mac and Linux release date. Smudged Cat Games had set the anticipated release for July 16 but pulled the trigger early so Gateways would be part of the Steam sale.

The puzzle platformer uses varying types of gateway portals to solve and pass puzzles on one giant level. The portals not only transverse distances, but can also shrink the character, change direction of gravity and travel through time.

Smudged Cat Games also recently launched  a level editor for Gateways where users can both create and load user generated levels.

Gateways and The Adventures of Shuggy are both 50% through July 22 on Steam.
